LIFE

This Physical world we live in, is our Spirit's canvas, it is where we CREATE the Life that we have come here to EXPRESS. We are ALL ARTISTS in the truest sense of the word; we can express our true self here by creating our Life. Our MASTERPIECE is our Life!

The Spirit Realm is a Realm of ONENESS where everything is connected and there is no separation. In the Spirit Realm there is no room for the Spirit to express itself; there is only room for the ONENESS. The Physical Realm is the Realm of SEPARATION, at least Physical separation; everything is still connected in the Energy Realm as Quantum Mechanics describes the "Fabric of Life". It is here in the Physical Realm that the many different components of the ONENESS (Spirit Realm) are able to EXPRESS THEMSELVES.

LIFE is more than just the Physical world and our Physical Body. LIFE consists of 3 Realms - Physical Realm, Energy Realm, Spirit Realm - ALL 3 Realms creates LIFE.

Our Physical world (Realm) is created from 'Universal Life-Force' that is substantiated by Quantum Mechanics. This 'Universal Life-Force' is also known as Chi, Ki, Prana and many other names. Quantum Mechanics is the science that studies the Atom. In the study of the Atom, some describes the Atom as behaving more like a THOUGHT than anything PHYSICALLY SOLID.

With our Physical world being composed from Atoms and with the decades of studying the Atom we find the Atom behaves more as a Thought we have a clue as to how the Energy Realm works. It is our THOUGHTS, EMOTIONS, and INTENTIONS that directs the CHI (Universal Life-Force).

We exist in ALL 3 REALMS SIMULTANEOUSLY. Our Physical Body exists here in the Physical Realm, our Spirit exists in the Spirit Realm, and our Soul exists in the Energy Realm.

Body, Soul, Spirit:

I refer to these components of our BEING as - Physical Body, Suffering Soul, and Knowing Spirit. The Knowing Spirit is often referred to as our 'Higher-self'. With our Body here in the Physical and our Spirit in the Spirit Realm, it is our Suffering Soul that connects the two through the Energy Realm.

Suffering Soul;

Why I refer to our Soul as our Suffering Soul, it is our Soul that we consciously experience LIFE. Our Soul is part of our IMMORTAL BEING, along with our Spirit. Our Body is our MORTAL BEING; our Body's MORTALITY is foreign to our immortal Soul. The one thing a MORTAL BEING can teach a IMMORTAL BEING is the value of LIFE. We often do not value something unless there is a chance of losing (mortality) that thing (LIFE).

Our immortal Soul has two major concerns - Safety and Belonging. Safety because the concept of DIEING is so alien to the Soul that it wants nothing to do with it, SAFETY becomes paramount. The next thing that is foreign to the Soul is how disconnected the Body is to everything else. In the Spirit Realm our Spirit is connected to everything and is our connection to the ONENESS that is the CREATOR. Our Soul is use to the ONENESS and the separation of the Body is alien to it, our Soul needs to BELONG.

I can go on about how our Suffering Soul is dealing with our Physical Life for a few more pages but I think this explains the concept of the 'Suffering Soul'. There is one more thing about the Soul, every night when our Body is asleep our Soul returns to our Spirit in the Spirit Realm. We call these nightly visits - DREAMS. Every night our Soul travels to our Spirit and every morning our Soul returns to our Body, this the Soul does through the Energy Realm. It is the Energy Realm that connects the Physical Realm and the Spirit Realm.

Physical Body;

Our Body has a level of consciousness and a level of intelligence of its own. We often talk about how we need to listen more to our Body. In Yoga we try to bring our Soul (Mind) more into our Body, so our Mind (Soul) is more AWARE of our Body. The Body's consciousness/intellect is what allows our Soul to leave our Body on its nightly visit to our Spirit.

In some aspects our Body's intellect is more AWARE than our Mind (Soul) is. Our Mind needs to listen to our Body, but this is a two-way communication. We need to know that our Body will also respond to our Mind.

Knowing Spirit;

Our Knowing Spirit is our GUIDE. Our FREE-WILL resides with our Soul and we can choose to follow our GUIDE (Spirit) or to choose another path, the choice is ours. Our Spirit connects with our Soul through our INTUITION and our DREAMS. In Shamanic practices we can consciously visit the Spirit Realm through the ritual of Spirit Journeys, in some traditions it is referred to as DREAMTIME.

This is the understanding of LIFE that Crystal Spirit Medicine works from. This understanding of BODY, SOUL, SPIRIT is not limited to the Human Kingdom but to EVERYTHING in our Physical Universe - the Air we breathe, the mountains, the streams, the animals around us - EVERYTHING.
